Terms and Conditions

The "QUICK TRIP Terms of Use" (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms of Use") is conditions of use for QUICK TRIP which are operated and provided by LECIP Corp. (hereinafter referred to as "The Company").

Article 1 (Definitions)

Terms used in Terms of Use shall have the meanings set forth in the following items, in addition the meanings separately defined in Terms of Use.

1. QUICK TRIP: The "QUICK TRIP" web service application operated and provided by The Company. Through QUICK TRIP, Users can select an Operator, purchase and use Various Tickets, etc. of the selected Operator, view their purchase history and use other service.
2. User: The customer who uses QUICK TRIP.
3. Device compatible with QUICK TRIP: A generic term for the model of smartphone that is managed and used by the User and designated by The Company as being capable of using QUICK TRIP.
4. Individual Services: Individual services that allow Users to purchase and use Various Tickets, etc. by Operators within QUICK TRIP.
5. Various Tickets, etc.: Tickets, such as one-day tickets, coupon tickets of Operators, facility admission tickets, experience tickets, etc., that can be purchased and used as Individual Services in QUICK TRIP.
6. Operator: A transportation operator and other business operator that can be used by Various Tickets, etc. purchased by Users as Individual Services of QUICK TRIP.
7. External Services: Individual contents and services provided by third parties other than The Company in conjunction with QUICK TRIP.
8. External Service Provider: A business operator that provides External Services.

Article 2 (Application, Formation, and Licensing of these Terms and Conditions)

1. This Terms of Use defines the terms and conditions of use and precautions for the use of QUICK TRIP, and apply to all the Users of QUICK TRIP.
2. Users are deemed to have agreed to and accepted this Terms of Use when they use QUICK TRIP.
3. The Company grants the User the right to use QUICK TRIP only on a Device compatible with QUICK TRIP, provided that the User complies with the Terms of Use.
4. QUICK TRIP may be used only by the User who uses QUICK TRIP by using a Device compatible with QUICK TRIP.
5. If the User is a minor, an adult ward, a person subject to conservatorship or assistance, the User uses QUICK TRIP only after obtaining the consent of his/her legal representative, guardian, conservator or assistant (including consent to the Terms of Use).
6. The Company may stipulate terms and conditions of use and precautions for Individual Services provided on QUICK TRIP as terms of use for Individual Services (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Service Terms of Use"). In cases where Individual Service Terms of Use are stipulated, Users are deemed to have agreed to and accepted the Individual Service Terms of Use when they use the Individual Service. In the event of any discrepancy between the Terms of Use and the Individual Service Terms of Use, the Individual Service Terms of Use shall take precedence over the Terms of Use.

Article 3 (Refusal of use or Cancellation)

1. The Company shall not provide QUICK TRIP if the User does not voluntarily enter all or part of the information required to apply for QUICK TRIP, or if the User does not agree to the Terms of Use. The User agrees to these conditions in advance.
2. The Company reserves the right to cancel the subscription even after the subscription has been accepted if any of the following conditions apply to the User. The User agrees to these conditions in advance.
   • If it is found that the User’s eligibility to use QUICK TRIP or Individual Services has been revoked in the past due to a violation of the Terms of Use, etc.
   • When it is found that there are falsehoods, errors or omissions in the description necessary for use of QUICK TRIP or Individual Services.
   • The User is a minor, an adult ward, a person under curatorship or a person under assistance, and has not obtained the consent of his/her legal representative, guardian, conservator or assistant.
   • When it is found that the User has violated the terms of use of other services other than the Individual Services provided by The Company before.
   • In the event of unauthorized use of QUICK TRIP.
   • If the User interferes with the operation of QUICK TRIP.
   • Other cases in which The Company deem the User to be inappropriate as a User.

Article 4 (How to Use Individual Services)

1. QUICK TRIP is the service that can be used by accessing QUICK TRIP using a Device compatible with QUICK TRIP via a telecommunication line and then following the procedures prescribed by The Company.
2. Users may purchase and use Various Tickets, etc. from Operators on QUICK TRIP as Individual Services within QUICK TRIP.
3. After payment is completed, the tickets are sent to QUICK TRIP. Users can use the tickets purchased through QUICK TRIP on the screen when boarding a train or a bus or at a time designated by the Operator.
4. The use of Various Tickets, etc. is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by Operators and laws and regulations.
5. Each of Various Tickets, etc. is a proof of the contract between the User and the Operator. When boarding a train or a bus, or when requested by a staff member at a time designated by the Operator, please present the screen of the Various Tickets, etc.

Article 5 (Use of Social Login Services)

1. When the User uses QUICK TRIP using the account of the website provided by the external service provider (hereinafter referred to as "external SNS"), (hereinafter referred to as "Social Login Services"), the user shall comply with the terms and conditions established by The Company regarding the service.
2. The User agrees that it may become impossible to use part or all of QUICK TRIP for the following reasons. The Company shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by users or third parties due to restrictions on their use.
   • When the user withdraws from the external SNS
   • In the event of a failure, etc., in an external SNS or Social Login Services
   • When the external service provider suspends or terminates the provision of the external SNS or Social Login Services
   • When the external service provider changes the content or operation policy of the external SNS or Social Login Services
   • In addition, when external SNS or Social Login Services cannot be used
3. When the User uses QUICK TRIP through Social Login Services, The Company will acquire the User's account information from an external service provider that provides an external SNS or Social Login Services.

Article 6 (External Services)

1. Third parties may provide External Services that are linked to QUICK TRIP.
2. When a User uses an External Service that is linked to QUICK TRIP, the contract for the use of the external service is separate from the Terms of Use of QUICK TRIP and is established directly between the User and the External Service Provider.
3. The function of linking QUICK TRIP with External Services may be restricted or unavailable at the discretion of the External Service Provider without notice to the User.

Article 7 (Usage Fees)

1. Users may use QUICK TRIP free of charge. However, Users are responsible for all costs incurred when using Individual Services or External Services that involve payment in QUICK TRIP.
2. The Internet Settlement Service is a service that enables Users to settle usage fees, cancellation fees, etc. for Individual Services and External Services using payment methods registered in advance (meaning payment methods including credit card, carrier payment, etc. that are designated by The Company).
3. When using the Internet Settlement Service through QUICK TRIP, Users comply with the rules and regulations regarding the use of the payment method or the contents of the contract related to the payment method (hereinafter referred to as the "Payment and Settlement Regulations") established by the payment method provider (including credit card companies, telecommunication carriers, payment service providers, etc., hereinafter referred to as "Payment Method Provider"), and shall use the Internet Payment Service.
4. In the event that a User of the Internet Settlement Service is obligated to pay usage fees, etc. for Individual Services and External Services, the User pays the usage fees, etc. by the payment method registered by the User in accordance with the specifications of The Company and the External Service Providers. With regard to sales processing, billing period, billing details, closing date, etc., regarding the use of credit card payment services, the User shall follow the agreements and settlement regulations between the Payment Method Provider and The Company or External Service Providers.
5. The use of the Internet Settlement Service shall be limited to the User (Orderer) who owns or is able to use the payment method (credit card, etc.). Even in the case of use by a third party, the payment method must be in the name of the User (Orderer) when payment of usage fees, etc. is made through the Internet Settlement Service.
6. In the event that the User is unable to pay the usage fee by credit card or other payment method registered by the User, the User shall pay the fee by a method determined by the Payment Method Provider or the External Service Provider.

Article 8 (Responsibility for ID and password management)

1. Users shall be responsible for managing their own IDs, passwords, and other PINs (hereinafter collectively referred to as "IDs, etc.") required for use of QUICK TRIP, Individual Services, or External Services and shall be liable for all acts performed using their IDs, etc. and the results thereof, whether or not they performed such acts themselves.
2. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User or any other party due to the use of the User's ID, etc. by a third party, regardless of the cause of such loss or damage.
3. A User may not use QUICK TRIP using the IDs, etc. of another User. In the unlikely event that a User uses another User's ID, etc. to use QUICK TRIP, the User shall immediately compensate for any and all damages caused thereby and settle any and all disputes that arise at his/her responsibility and expense.

Article 9 (Personal Information, etc.)

1. In providing QUICK TRIP, The Company will collect personal information (as defined in Article 2-1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of May 30, 2003)) such as names, telephone numbers, e-mail address and other information such as User’s information and location information (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information”) may be obtained.
2. The Company shall properly handle Personal Information obtained from Users in accordance with the Terms of Use, the QUICK TRIP Privacy Policy, the LECIP Group Privacy Policy, and Japanese laws and regulations related to personal information protection.

3. The Company will use Personal Information obtained from Users in QUICK TRIP for the following purposes.
   • To provide products and services
   • For management and operation of products and services
   • To notify Users of changes to the contents of products and services
   • To respond to inquiries regarding products and services, etc.
   • To send questionnaires regarding products and services
   • To send information on new features, updates, campaigns, etc. related to products and services and other services provided by The Company
   • To conduct research and analysis to improve products and services and to evaluate the impact of products and services
   • To prepare analytical and statistical materials regarding the usage and purchase status of products and services, etc., processed in such a way that individuals cannot be identified.
   • To perform tasks incidental to each of the above items
4. The User agrees that The Company may process the User's Personal Information, etc. into non-personally identifiable statistical data and use it itself or provide it to a third party.
5. Users may inquire, change, or delete their registered personal information in accordance with the procedures prescribed in QUICK TRIP. However, The Company may not be able to respond to the User's request in the event of server or network maintenance or failure.
6. In principle, The Company will obtain the User's individual consent before providing the User's Personal Information to a third party for any purpose other than those specified in Section 3. However, if required by law or legal process, if necessary to protect the life, body, or property of the User, The Company, or a third party, or if permitted by Japanese personal information protection laws, such as when outsourcing to a contractor in Japan for information processing or analysis purposes, The Company may provide personal information to a third party without obtaining the User's consent.
7. The Company will delete the User's personal information after the provision of QUICK TRIP is terminated. However, The Company may continue to use information that does not identify individuals or analytical or statistical materials that have been processed in such a way that individuals cannot be identified.

Article 10 (Copyrights, etc.)

Copyrights, trademarks, design rights, and other intellectual property rights related to text, images, photos, audio, video, and other information provided in QUICK TRIP, Individual Services, and External Services belong to The Company or External Service Providers.

Article 11 (Precautions, Prohibited Items)

1. Users shall observe the following for their own safety when using QUICK TRIP.
   • Operating a Device compatible with QUICK TRIP or looking at the screen while driving or walking is extremely dangerous and may violate the Road Traffic Law and other laws, so be sure to stop at a safe place before using QUICK TRIP.
   • Recognize that the information provided by QUICK TRIP is for reference only and may not always be the most appropriate, and always give priority to actual sidewalk and road conditions, road signs, road markings, and other traffic regulations and traffic rules.
2. In using QUICK TRIP, Users shall not engage in any of the following acts
   • Acts that infringe, or may infringe, intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, or other rights of The Company or third parties
   • Actions that violate or may violate the privacy of third parties
   • Acts of allowing a third party to use Various Tickets, etc. by allowing a third party to use QUICK TRIP logged in using the User account or acts of allowing a third party to obtain screen information of Various Tickets, etc. purchased by the User
   • Unauthorized access to QUICK TRIP, unauthorized attacks, or actions that may lead to such unauthorized access or attack
   • Any act that disables the provision of QUICK TRIP or otherwise interferes with the provision or operation of QUICK TRIP, or any act that may cause such disruption.
   • Actions that cause or may cause disadvantage or damage to The Company or third parties
   • Criminal acts or acts that lead or may lead to criminal acts
   • Any act of using any information obtained through the use of QUICK TRIP as a business, or any act of making such information available to a third party, regardless of the method used.
   • Use of QUICK TRIP on a device other than a Device compatible with QUICK TRIP (including a device that has been improperly modified to be compatible with QUICK TRIP)
   • Reverse engineering acts such as decompiling or disassembling application of QUICK TRIP
   • Use of QUICK TRIP in combination with other applications or services (excluding Individual Services and External Services).
   • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
   • Other than the above, acts that violate or may violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
3. Users may not transfer, succeed, or offer as collateral to a third party all or part of their contractual status with respect to QUICK TRIP and Individual Services.

Article 12 (Compensation for Damages)

1. If a User causes damage to a third party through the use of QUICK TRIP, Individual Services, or External Services, the User shall resolve the matter at his/her own responsibility and expense, and shall not cause any trouble to The Company.
2. In the event that a User violates the Terms of Use, Individual Services, or terms and conditions for External Services, or causes damage to The Company through fraudulent or illegal acts, The Company may claim compensation for damages from the User.

Article 13 (Modification, Suspension, Termination, etc. of Terms of Use, etc.)

1. The Company may change the contents of Terms of Use or the Terms of Service for Individual Services without the consent of the User, and the User shall not object to such changes.
2. The Company may change QUICK TRIP or Individual Services without notice to Users.
3. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of QUICK TRIP or Individual Services without notice to Users in any of the following cases
   • For periodic or emergency updates, upgrades, version upgrades or system maintenance of QUICK TRIP
   • When QUICK TRIP cannot be provided due to fire, power outage, war, riot, disturbance, labor dispute, etc.
   • In the event that the provision of QUICK TRIP becomes impossible due to natural disasters such as earthquakes, eruptions, floods, and tsunamis.
   • If the communication service used for QUICK TRIP is stopped or fails
   • In the event of communication failure due to the usage environment of the Device compatible with QUICK TRIP or other circumstances
   • When The Company deems it necessary to temporarily suspend the provision of QUICK TRIP for operational or technical reasons
4. When notifying Users of the temporary suspension of QUICK TRIP or Individual Services, The Company will notify them in a manner The Company deems appropriate. However, this shall not apply in the case of an emergency or when notification cannot be made due to unavoidable circumstances.
5. The Company may terminate the provision of QUICK TRIP or discontinue Individual Services (including termination of contracts for ongoing Individual Services) without notice to Users.
6. In the event that the provision of QUICK TRIP is terminated, Terms of Use will be terminated at the same time as the provision of QUICK TRIP is terminated.
7. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, Article 7 shall remain in effect until the completion of payment of the usage fees or cancellation fees for QUICK TRIP, and Articles 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 shall remain in effect after termination of Terms of Use.

Article 14 (Exemption from Liability)

1. Regarding matters related to the actual implementation of Various Tickets, etc. sold through QUICK TRIP, the Operator shall be liable to the User, and The Company shall not be liable to the User in any way.
2. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currentness, usefulness, operation, quality, etc. of the use of QUICK TRIP or Individual Services or the provision of such services, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users or third parties as a result of the use of QUICK TRIP or Individual Services.
3. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User as a result of the denial or cancellation of the use of QUICK TRIP in accordance with Article 3.
4. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User as a result of changes to Terms of Use or Individual Services Terms of Use in accordance with Article 13.
5. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User as a result of changes to QUICK TRIP or Individual Services pursuant to Article 13.
6. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User due to temporary suspension of the provision of QUICK TRIP or Individual Services in accordance with Article 13.
7. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the User as a result of the termination of the provision of QUICK TRIP or the discontinuation of Individual Services in accordance with Article 13.
8. The various functions available to the User may vary depending on the OS version of the Device compatible with QUICK TRIP, and The Company does not guarantee to the User that all functions of QUICK TRIP will be available to the User. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the User or any third party due to such limitation of use.
9. Users agree that in the event of any of the following, in the case, QUICK TRIP, Individual Services, and External Services cannot be used in whole or in part, The Company shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by User or third parties as a result, unless such damages or losses are caused by The Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
   • When there is an error in the information provided by the User.
   • When a Device compatible with QUICK TRIP or other peripheral equipment is not connected properly, or does not operate properly due to malfunction, damage, defect, etc., or is incompatible with any combination of these, or has functional settings that interfere with the use of QUICK TRIP, Individual Services, or External Services.
   • In the case of failure to comply with the items described in the instruction manual of the Device compatible with QUICK TRIP or other peripheral equipment.
   • When power is not normally supplied to the Device compatible with QUICK TRIP or other peripheral equipment, such as when the battery of the Device compatible with QUICK TRIP runs out, etc.
   • When there is no power on for the Device compatible with QUICK TRIP or other peripheral equipment.
10. The contract for the use of External Services is concluded directly between the User and the External Service Provider, and The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the User in connection with the use of External Services.
11. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currentness, usefulness, operation, quality, etc. of the use of External Services or the provision of such services, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the User or third parties as a result of the use of External Services.
12. The External Service Providers may, at their discretion, restrict or disable the functions linked with the external service without notice to the User. The Company shall not be liable for any damage caused by such restriction or unavailability.
13. In the event of a dispute between a User and an External Service Provider, the dispute shall be resolved between the User and the External Service Provider, and the User shall not file any claim or complaint with The Company.

Article 15 (Withdrawal from Membership)

1. A User may cancel the registration for use of QUICK TRIP (hereinafter referred to as "withdrawal") upon completion of the procedures prescribed by The Company.
2. If a User withdraws from the membership, Terms of Use and the Individual Services Terms of Use will be terminated.
3. If a User withdraws from the membership, the User's registered information, purchased tickets and other information will be deleted, and even if the User registers again at, the information before withdrawal will not be restored.
4. If a User withdraws from the membership, the User shall lose all acquired rights, including refunds of unused purchased Various Tickets, etc. However, the User shall not be exempted from obligations, liabilities, etc. arising from reasons prior to the termination of Terms of Use and the Individual Services Terms of Use.

Article 16 (Exclusion of Antisocial Forces)

1. The User represents and warrants to The Company that he/she (or, if the User is a corporation, its representatives, officers, or persons who effectively control its management) does not and will not fall under any of the following categories: organized crime groups, organized crime group members, organized crime group-related companies, general assemblymen, socially-oriented crime groups, special intelligence crime groups, and other anti-social forces (hereinafter referred to as "Anti-Social Forces").
2. If a User is found to be a member of antisocial forces, The Company may terminate the Terms of Use without notice.
3. In the event that The Company terminates Terms of Use pursuant to the preceding paragraph, The Company shall not be liable to compensate the User for any damage caused thereby, and the User shall be liable to compensate The Company for any damage caused thereby.

Article 17 (Governing Law and Agreed Jurisdiction)

The Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive first instance jurisdiction over any and all legal disputes related to the Terms of Use and QUICK TRIP.
